Encounter the ballet of today in an evening of bold and innovative performances by Ballet BC, the internationally acclaimed contemporary ballet company based out of Vancouver and led by Artistic Director Emily Molnar. Founded in 1986, Ballet BC is a leader in contemporary dance in Canada and is renowned worldwide as a hotbed for the creation and performance of exciting new choreography. Performing a diverse repertoire of works by Canadian and international choreographers of the late 20th and early 21st centuries, Ballet BC’s dancers are dynamic, deeply thoughtful, and delight in collaboration. The performance will be followed by a discussion with Ballet BC's artistic director, Emily Molnar.
