DESCRIPTION: 
Follow your nose through the future as it was imagined in the 1960s at this exhibition featuring the Sensorama machine, the groundbreaking multisensory media device! 

Visitors will have the opportunity to view the one of the original Sensorama machines alongside rare archival materials on multisensory design from inventor Morton Heilig, and experience scent-enhanced virtual reality through the Sensorama VR Experience, developed by USC's Mobile & Environmental Media Lab and the Immersive Archive.

The Sensorama Exhibition is part of the series, Whiff, Wonder and Smell: Recreating Olfactory Cinema and Immersive Media Pasts, inviting audiences to experience film and immersive media through scent-enhanced screenings, interactive exhibits, and hands-on workshops. Encounter rare recreations of historic technologies like Odorama, Smell-O-Vision, and Sensorama, and discover how smell can transform the cinematic experience.
