DESCRIPTION:
Experience the vibrant tradition and learn the significance of Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) at Downtown Día De Los Muertos at Gloria Molina Grand Park. The two-week exhibition is a community-oriented space that invites park-goers to stroll through 20 altars made by professional artists and local organizations led by long-time multimedia artist, educator, and curator Consuelo G. Flores.

USC students will join Flores for a private tour of the stunning altars, which honor people, places, and ideas and uniquely reflect Los Angeles, and contribute to a community altar. Additionally, Flores will lead students in a Día de Los Muertos–themed art-making project to take home.
